About MathDork

MathDork was created by Royanne Levy in 1999, to provide an easy, intuitive way to learn Algebra I.

With an A.B. in Mathematics from UC-Berkeley, and a California Standard Secondary Teaching Credential, Ms. Levy has more than 20 years' of teaching experience.

However, it was her experience as a private tutor that alerted her to the fact that the students' questions did not match the rigorous way that Math was presented in the textbooks.

The MathDork lessons predict many of the questions students (of any age) will have as they learn each new topic in Algebra I.
